A Fhoto for Friday

On one of my many walkabouts with the true love "Nikon", I came across the above tree...

The mental dialogue went something like this:

Oh how cute

Yea cute how they scarred the poor tree

hmmmm are they still together

ehhhhh probably not but the moment is permanently placed for all the see

kind of like a tattoo with the significant others name

remind the boys to never get a girlfriends name etched into their skin...

Same Old Same Old

Nothing new or exciting has happened, just the same routine...job hunting, washing clothes, job hunting, washing dishes, job hunting...well you get the picture :)

It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is just around the corner and then the big stressful event X-mas...I have considered boycotting both, but woe is me the kids just don't get that concept lol...

I was out and about a week or so ago I took this shot...the color of the leaves has been beautiful this fall.

Since I have nothing to really say I will leave you with a riddle...

What is greater than God?
Eviler than Satan?
The poor have it?
And the rich do not want it?

Tribulations of the Hair

Done Deal...it is gone! Got all of it chopped off hehehe.

I think the gray (I prefer this spelling...insert giggle here) is less noticeable...

So the plan at this point is grow, chop, grow, chop and then see what my true natural color is.

Couple of side notes...

First one, Mr Spike Lee was watching as I tried to capture a self portrait...

His look of WTF was very amusing.

Second, concerns Fritz...yes my life revolves around the animals quite a bit.

Fritz spent a good half hour looking and listening toward the ceiling this morning.

So now I am wondering...is he just tarded or does he hear a mouse in the ceiling? I am thinking S-man might have to check this one out.

Happy Sunday!

Halloween Weekend

Little M's slumber party only had one guest...have to say I was not sad over this fact...a house full of screaming girls can be extreme at times.

The girls did not seem to mind that it was just the two of them. They were excited to get a load of candy and they did!

We went to a party on Saturday night and the food was wonderful...chicken stew, hot dogs, a popcorn machine and all kinds of deserts. The kids were able to roast hot dogs, biscuits (I had never heard of that) and marshmallows over the fire. They had a great time. There was a pinata for the kids.

Here is Little M taking a swing...

and here is the dog pile after lol...

all in all it was a good weekend...we are going back this evening to help consume the large supply of hot dogs :), so I will be sitting around the fire trying to stay warm.
