UPDATE GREY/GRAY UPDATE

As some of you know I made the decision back in October to stop coloring my hair...the story is here.

Then in November I took a drastic step and chopped it off and that was documented here :).

I figured an update was needed...

The pictures are straight out the camera no post editing. Geezzzzz I had more Grey/Gray than I thought.

The back is not as bad.

I must admit I am becoming weak on my resolve to not color. Little M had her hair cut this past Friday and she wanted new hair clips as we walked past the hair color I had a mental fight with myself.

You know you feel older now.

It would only take a half a bottle.

Just go to a nice warm brown.

You know you would feel better about yourself.

I held steadfast and did not cave but the urge is strong. I am really missing my length the short hair has run its course on "Oh this is new and fun" NOT. I wake every morning with a fuzzy crazy mess.

I have not cut it since December due to the kids constant whining and snide remarks about a manly look...so I shall see if I can hold on to my decision to Grey/Gray it out.

I think it's a nice cut, and looks easy to maintain. I would like to cut mine, but my hair is so thin and flat.

In the first pic you look so much like one of my son's daycare providers. That's a compliment :)

I come from a long line of women who colour their hair, in denial of the reality of their situations. I'm judgemental. I think you should keep it natural :)

Steady as she goes - let it grow out and see how you like it (and others too)My wife gets compliments all the time on her long mostly grey hair - if you don't like it - Loreal, cuz "you're worth it" :-}

I, too, am letting mine grow out. But NO WAY am I gonna let it go grey (yes, it's GREY. The King's English). I just bought three different colors of red. I figure if I mix them together, I'll get that rich, highlighted color, right? RIGHT???

Hi Laurea: I changed my mind - do whatever it is that makes YOU feel good about yourself until it becomes too much trouble. Once it becomes more trouble than its worth - then make the decision. My earlier comment was based on my feeling since I took ill 7 years ago - I don't care much about my appearance any more, but only because I am unable to do much about it.

BILL not retractions allowed lol.

I was tired of the upkeep of coloring not sure what I will do yet...holding steady as you stated.

@The Mother yes Right Right but I have learned you can always "do over" if you don't like it :)

I think going grey is so sexy and attractive on a woman. Of course, I've been dying my hair since high school and don't have any greys yet. I'm not sure what I'll do when they start popping up. lol
